We are seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Science Teacher to join our highly accomplished department. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Science across the age and ability range, including GCSE and A-Level.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the school's expectations and policy.
• Use data to monitor and track student progress, implementing timely interventions.
• Prepare students for public examinations, including setting and marking assessments.
• Communicate effectively with parents through written reports and attendance at Parents’ Evenings and Open Evenings.
• Maintain good order and discipline in the classroom.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and professional development initiatives.
• Collaborate with support teachers and contribute to the professional development of beginning teachers.
• Take responsibility for designated areas of the curriculum or administrative tasks.
• Familiarise yourself with the DSIB inspection framework and UAE cultural expectations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant teaching qualifications.
• Experience teaching in British Curriculum schools, including IGCSE and A-Level.
• Strong understanding of assessment and examination requirements for KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding teaching and support student progress.
• Commitment to working effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to keep up to date with developments in the subject area.

Preferred

• Experience with curriculum innovation and professional development.
• Familiarity with UAE educational initiatives and cultural expectations.
• Ability to contribute to departmental policy and curricular initiatives.
