The Opportunity:

We are seeking an outstanding Secondary Science Teacher to join our Science Department and inspire students up to Year 13. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners while contributing to the development of a dynamic and growing school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science to students up to Year 13 following the British National Curriculum or Cambridge International program.
  • Deliver high-quality, student-centered lessons that promote critical thinking and a love of learning.
  • Use technology effectively to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Manage classrooms with a positive and structured approach, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Set clear objectives for students and implement targeted interventions to support individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a cohesive Science curriculum.
  • Support students for whom English is not their first language through differentiated instruction and communication.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the school through innovation and professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A bachelor’s degree and teaching qualification (PGCE preferred).
  • Proven experience teaching Science in a UK or international school following the Cambridge International Curriculum or National Curriculum of England and Wales from KS3 to A-Levels.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience in using technology to enhance learning.
  • Valid EU passport or TIE.
  • Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language, or willingness to develop these skills.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching other subjects such as Mathematics.
  • Knowledge of classroom management strategies.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and international education.
