Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to the needs of students with SEND
• Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the UK secondary school curriculum
• Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff to ensure student success
• Monitor and assess student progress using a range of assessment tools
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student independence and confidence
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents on progress and development
• Support the integration of students with SEND into mainstream classroom activities where appropriate

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Graduate Certificate in Education or related field
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably in a SEND or inclusive education setting
• Strong understanding of the UK secondary school curriculum
• Ability to create and implement individualized learning plans
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

• Experience with assessment tools and progress monitoring
• Background in special educational needs or inclusive education
• Familiarity with Islamic values and cultural context
• Proficiency in using emerging technology in the classroom
