Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, teach, and assess a range of subjects to support student progression from Functional Skills to GCSE level
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver engaging lessons and support positive behaviour
  • Follow whole school teaching and learning systems and participate in a comprehensive induction
  • Support the development and expansion of the curriculum, including data collection and communication with stakeholders
  • Create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments that encourage student participation and growth

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A committed and passionate approach to working with students with SEND
  • At least two years’ experience working in a SEND environment or similar provision
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning Support (QTLS)

Preferred

  • Experience with restorative practices or therapeutic education
  • Familiarity with sensory-based learning techniques
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
