Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and challenging Social Sciences lessons to students across key stages.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic and personal goals.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning across the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Social Sciences.
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and reflective practice.
  • Experience in creating and delivering high-quality lessons that meet curriculum requirements.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a Multi-Academy Trust or similar educational setting.
  • Background in promoting student wellbeing and community engagement.
  • Experience with cross-curricular links and innovative teaching methods.
  • Knowledge of current issues in Social Sciences and the ability to integrate them into lessons.
