We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher - Key Stage 5 to join our passionate and committed team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons to Key Stage 5 students.
- Plan and design effective, curriculum-focused teaching resources and schemes of work.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.
- Support students in preparing for exams and achieving their full potential.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.
- Stay up to date with developments in Science education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 5.
- Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience in a school with a multi-academy trust structure.
- Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes and attainment.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods or technology in the classroom.
- Leadership experience or a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
