Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that align with the IB curriculum and school values.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and language development.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school to enhance interdisciplinary learning and global engagement.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s mission of educational excellence.
- Support the school’s Global Campus initiatives and promote cross-cultural understanding.
- Engage with the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in language teaching and education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field.
- Qualified teacher status or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Spanish at the secondary level.
- Strong command of spoken and written Spanish and English.
- Experience with the IB curriculum or international education framework.
Preferred
- Experience teaching in an international school setting.
- Familiarity with the Nord Anglia Education curriculum and values.
- Experience with bilingual or multilingual education.
- Knowledge of performing arts or music education is a plus.
