Summary:

Speech and Language Therapist needed at a special needs school in Vietnam. Support students aged 2–18 with communication needs.

The Opportunity:

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting students aged 2–18 with a range of communication and developmental needs. You will deliver individual and group therapy sessions, collaborate with teachers, and help students develop essential communication skills through evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver speech and language therapy for students aged 2–18
  • Administer, score, and interpret standardized and informal SLP assessments
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized intervention plans
  • Provide push-in intervention within the classroom, embedding communication goals into daily learning
  • Work closely with teachers and assistant teachers to support communication and language development
  • Implement and support AAC systems for students with complex communication needs
  • Collaborate with families and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain clear, professional documentation and progress reports

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology (Master’s degree an advantage)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with children and young people with special needs in clinic or school settings
  • Additional training and experience in AAC (required)

Preferred

  • PROMPT and/or OPT training
