Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students through one-to-one or small group sessions to enhance their learning and personal development.
  • Identify and address barriers to learning through tailored interventions and strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a consistent and effective approach to student support.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans in line with the school’s values and goals.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and motivation.
  • Participate in professional development and research initiatives that contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Attend meetings and contribute to discussions about student welfare and academic progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with students aged 11–18, either in a one-to-one or group setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Commitment to student well-being and academic success.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in education or youth support roles.
  • Knowledge of inclusive education practices and strategies for supporting diverse learners.
  • Experience with evidence-informed teaching and learning approaches.
  • Ability to contribute to research and professional development projects.
