Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with Special Educational Needs in a mainstream school setting
  • Assist in developing individual learning plans and track student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to help students achieve their academic and personal goals
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure consistent support
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to the school’s mission of excellence for all students
  • Help maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere for all students

Required

  • A commitment to team working and the ability to build strong working relationships

Preferred

  • Experience in working with students with Special Educational Needs
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting
  • Aspiring teacher status or experience in education
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices
