The Opportunity:

A Support Assistant is needed to help pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 access the curriculum and overcome learning barriers. Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and overcoming barriers to learning.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff to deliver high-quality, personalised support.
• Assist in creating an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students.
• Promote the school’s Catholic vision, mission, and values in all aspects of work.
• Help develop students’ academic, social, and emotional confidence.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with relevant staff.
• Contribute to the overall success of the learning support team.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience of supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• A genuine passion for helping young people progress and achieve.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when needed.

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting.
