The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced T-Level Health Teacher to join our dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality vocational education. This role offers the chance to inspire and shape the future of health and social care professionals through innovative teaching and strong student support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality T-Level Health and BTEC Health and Social Care courses to students at Key Stages 4 to 5.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote student achievement.
  • Support students in their academic and personal development, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in health and social care to enhance the relevance of the curriculum.
  • Provide pastoral care and mentorship to students, ensuring their well-being and success.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and events that reflect the school’s Christian ethos and values.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments to monitor student progress and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant Level 6 qualification in Health or related field.
  • Proven experience as a healthcare practitioner or vocational teacher.
  • Ability to teach T-Level Health as part of T-Level Health and Science studies.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement in teaching and learning.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching BTEC Health and Social Care.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and support the school’s Christian ethos.
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support.
