Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Music and Music Technology to students of all ages and abilities.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that are stimulating and encourage student engagement.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A Level examinations and support applications to competitive universities.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Music Department to maintain a strong and successful program.
- Use innovative teaching methods to develop students’ key skills and creativity.
- Maintain strong and positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Utilize the school’s excellent facilities, including a dedicated Music building and recording studio.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant academic qualifications and teaching experience.
- Experience teaching Music up to A Level.
- Ability to teach Music Technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality education and student support.
Preferred
- Experience working in a school with a strong music department.
- Familiarity with modern music technology and recording equipment.
- Experience with teaching students of varying abilities and ages.
