Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and the Sixth Form.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Work as part of a team to support the school’s mission and values.
- Participate in all aspects of school life, including extracurricular activities and pastoral support.
- Prepare and assess student work in line with curriculum expectations and examination requirements.
- Stay up to date with developments in Religious Studies and pedagogy.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department through collaboration and innovation.
- Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Religious Studies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in delivering lessons to a range of student abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Preferred
- Experience with GCSE and A-Level Religious Studies qualifications.
- Familiarity with OfSTED standards and best practices in teaching.
- Experience in a high-performing school environment.
- Ability to contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.
