Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality English lessons that inspire and challenge students across Key Stage 3 and the Sixth Form.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Work collaboratively with the department to ensure consistent and effective teaching practices.
- Participate in all aspects of school life, including extra-curricular activities and pastoral support.
- Support the school’s commitment to student wellbeing and academic success.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students reach their full potential.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of a broad and dynamic curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records and follow school procedures and policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in English education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and student behaviour.
- Experience in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Preferred
- Experience working with students from Key Stage 3 through to the Sixth Form.
- Familiarity with OfSTED standards and best practices in education.
- Experience in a school with a strong focus on Wellbeing and Collaboration.
- Ability to contribute to extra-curricular activities and school events.
- Experience with safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
