Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum framework.
• Teach core subjects including English, Math, and Science.
• Implement student-centered instructional practices that encourage inquiry and critical thinking.
• Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences to support active learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and confident.
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum development and instructional practices.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and community engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Upper Elementary grade levels.
• Experience with or training in an American curriculum framework.
• A commitment to student-centered learning and inquiry-based learning.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience in an international school setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a culturally responsive and inclusive environment.
• Strong collaboration and reflective practice skills.
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
