Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons aligned with the American curriculum
• Foster student-centered learning through inquiry, discussion, and critical thinking
• Integrate technology and diverse resources to support active learning
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and instructional practices
• Contribute to the school community through extracurricular and community engagement activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in History, Social Studies, Political Science, or a related field
• Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
• Experience teaching Middle School and/or High School Social Studies
• Experience with or training in an American curriculum framework
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience in an international school setting
