A school is seeking a passionate and student-centered Science Teacher Grade 6-9 to join its growing international faculty in Doha, Qatar. The role involves delivering engaging and inquiry-based Science lessons aligned with the American curriculum, while supporting students in developing critical thinking and scientific understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the American curriculum
• Support students in developing inquiry, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Use student-centered instructional practices that encourage exploration and scientific thinking
• Integrate technology and digital tools to support science learning
• Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments
• Create a classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and confident in Science
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum and instructional practices
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and community engagement

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field
• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
• Experience teaching Middle School Science
• Experience with or training in an American curriculum framework
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
