The Opportunity:

As Vice Principal, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head of School to drive academic excellence, leadership, and student development. This is an opportunity to shape a dynamic educational environment and contribute to a school that values innovation, inclusion, and high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of School in delivering exceptional educational outcomes and managing day-to-day operations.
  • Lead the implementation of a holistic, inclusive curriculum that inspires and engages all students.
  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure the school's vision and improvement plans are effectively realized.
  • Promote a positive school culture, ensuring staff wellbeing and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Manage and monitor the school's budget in alignment with curriculum needs and Trust guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to drive improvement and maintain high standards.
  • Develop and implement policies, systems, and processes to support continuous improvement and professional excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, the wider community, and partner organizations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within an educational setting.
  • Strong track record in driving academic improvement and student outcomes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills with experience in school operations and strategic planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, equal opportunities, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively in line with Trust policies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading curriculum development and teaching and learning strategies.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted standards and school improvement processes.
  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar educational structure.
  • Strong understanding of inclusion and special educational needs (SEN) support.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
