A Level Economics Teacher needed for September 2026 – 3-5 days per week.

We are seeking an inspiring and highly qualified A Level Economics Teacher to join our successful Sixth Form. You will play a key role in shaping the academic journey of ambitious students, delivering high-quality lessons and fostering a passion for Economics. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality A Level Economics lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Economics.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that align with the school’s academic standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support departmental goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Support the school’s Catholic ethos and values in all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including pastoral and extracurricular activities.
  • Participate in professional development and staff training initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching A Level Economics.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver outstanding Economics lessons.
  • Commitment to the school’s Catholic ethos and values.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High expectations and a commitment to student achievement.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Maths at KS3/4 or GCSE Business Studies.
  • Willingness and ability to take on additional teaching responsibilities.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives.
