A Geography Teacher is sought to inspire students and deliver high-quality education across all key stages. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally in a supportive and ambitious school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons to students across all key stages.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that fosters a love of Geography and encourages outstanding student outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Geography and other department members to enhance teaching and learning.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and assessment.
- Promote the Catholic ethos and values within the classroom and school community.
- Participate in professional development, training, and coaching opportunities.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Geography.
- Experience in teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a Geography department or taking on leadership roles.
- Experience with teaching Geography at A-Level.
- Demonstrable track record of student achievement and engagement.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
