Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons to students across all key stages.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that fosters a love of Geography and encourages outstanding student outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with the Head of Geography and other department members to enhance teaching and learning.
• Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and assessment.
• Promote the Catholic ethos and values within the classroom and school community.
• Participate in professional development, training, and coaching opportunities.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Geography.
• Experience in teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Preferred

• Experience in leading a Geography department or taking on leadership roles.
• Experience with teaching Geography at A-Level.
• Demonstrable track record of student achievement and engagement.
• Experience in pastoral care or student support.
