The Opportunity:
A Male PE Teacher is needed to join a dynamic and collaborative team, delivering high-quality PE lessons to students at KS3 and KS4. This role is ideal for someone passionate about student development and committed to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. The position offers flexibility, including part-time or job-share options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons to students at KS3 and KS4.
- Support the school’s ethos of kindness and inclusivity in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the department and be willing to teach other subjects when required.
- Continuously develop teaching practice and contribute to departmental planning and improvement.
- Lead by example and demonstrate a strong commitment to student achievement and well-being.
- Assist with the operation of the school minibus when required.
- Participate in staff development opportunities and training programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it by the end of the academic year.
- Experience in teaching PE at KS3 and KS4.
- A commitment to the school’s ethos of kindness and inclusivity.
- Ability to work collaboratively and support students in achieving their best.
- Willingness to teach other subjects when required.
Preferred
- Experience in working with vulnerable students.
- Knowledge of current PE curriculum requirements and best practices.
- Experience in driving a school minibus.
- Early career teachers with a strong desire to develop and grow professionally.
