The Opportunity:

A Male PE Teacher is needed to join a dynamic and collaborative team, delivering high-quality PE lessons to students at KS3 and KS4. This role is ideal for someone passionate about student development and committed to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. The position offers flexibility, including part-time or job-share options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons to students at KS3 and KS4.
  • Support the school’s ethos of kindness and inclusivity in all aspects of teaching and student interaction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the department and be willing to teach other subjects when required.
  • Continuously develop teaching practice and contribute to departmental planning and improvement.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a strong commitment to student achievement and well-being.
  • Assist with the operation of the school minibus when required.
  • Participate in staff development opportunities and training programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it by the end of the academic year.
  • Experience in teaching PE at KS3 and KS4.
  • A commitment to the school’s ethos of kindness and inclusivity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and support students in achieving their best.
  • Willingness to teach other subjects when required.

Preferred

  • Experience in working with vulnerable students.
  • Knowledge of current PE curriculum requirements and best practices.
  • Experience in driving a school minibus.
  • Early career teachers with a strong desire to develop and grow professionally.
