Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality A Level Mathematics lessons using engaging and student-led teaching methods.
• Plan and develop curriculum content aligned with AQA, Edexcel, or equivalent British exam boards.
• Use classroom technology to enhance the learning experience and support student achievement.
• Collaborate with department colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the mathematics team.
• Support students in developing a love for mathematics and a strong foundation for future studies and careers.
• Participate in extra-curricular activities and contribute to the broader life of the school.
• Provide constructive feedback and track student progress through regular assessments and evaluations.
• Stay up to date with developments in the field of mathematics education and incorporate innovative teaching strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Undergraduate degree with a major in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching in a British school or British curriculum school.
• Experience teaching AQA, Edexcel, or equivalent British exam boards.
• Evidence of outstanding teaching practice or the potential to become outstanding.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, student-led lessons.
• Strong subject knowledge with the passion to inspire a love of learning in students.

Preferred

• Experience using classroom technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to departmental and school-wide initiatives.
