Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to Key Stages 3 to 5 students
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and provide targeted support where needed
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning strategies
• Communicate regularly with parents to support student development
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities
• Stay up to date with developments in the subject and pedagogy

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Certified teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or B.ED)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry
• Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in a British curriculum school
• Experience teaching Key Stages 3 to 5
• Strong IT and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Familiarity with HPL (High Performance Learning) principles
• Experience in a multicultural educational setting
