The Opportunity:

As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and secretarial support to the school community, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to the school community.
  • Act as a point of contact for parent, student, and staff enquiries.
  • Support the school’s administrative functions and ensure the smooth running of the office.
  • Attend meetings and take accurate minutes as required.
  • Manage correspondence and maintain records in line with school policies.
  • Assist with the coordination of school events and administrative tasks.
  • Use ICT systems effectively to support daily operations.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming attitude in all interactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience in an office or administrative environment.
  • Strong ICT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and school management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational ability.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to be part of a team.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an educational setting.
  • Experience with school administration systems.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Experience in a Catholic or faith-based school environment.
