The Opportunity:

A school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join its dynamic department. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' learning and development across Key Stage 3, 4, and Sixth Form.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that motivate and challenge students across all key stages.
  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with schemes of learning and curriculum requirements.
  • Provide clear learning objectives and outcomes to students in accordance with school policy.
  • Support individual learners through appropriate scaffolding and differentiated instruction.
  • Participate in the school’s Quality Assurance Programme and contribute to departmental priorities.
  • Promote a positive learning environment that fosters strong staff-student relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to the school’s behaviour and relationships policy in all interactions.
  • Provide both formative and summative feedback to support student progress.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of educational developments and curriculum initiatives.
  • Uphold the school’s anti-bullying policy and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in English education.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3, 4, and Sixth Form students.
  • Strong knowledge of current educational developments and curriculum requirements.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support departmental priorities.

Preferred

  • Experience with continuous professional development and innovative teaching strategies.
  • Familiarity with the All Saints Multi Academy Trust and its values.
  • Experience in providing feedback in line with established school policies.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
