The Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of the school office and providing excellent support to staff and visitors. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive and welcoming school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and reliable administrative support to the main office and reception.
- Manage general office duties, including answering calls, correspondence, and visitor接待.
- Assist with the coordination of meetings, events, and school activities.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure the timely processing of administrative tasks.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school to ensure a cohesive and effective working environment.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures at all times.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred
- Previous experience working in a school environment.
- Familiarity with educational systems and processes.
- Experience with office software such as Microsoft Office and school management systems.
Compensation & Benefits:
- 20 hours per week, term time only, plus 2 staff development days.
