Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the creative arts provision across the school.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students of all abilities.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of enrichment activities and extracurricular events.
  • Promote the school’s values and ethos through inclusive and positive teaching practices.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning outcomes.
  • Contribute to the professional development of the department and wider school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in art education.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student-centered learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering creative arts programs.
  • Background in working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL) or supporting bilingual students.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and technologies used in art education.
