The Opportunity:
We are seeking an inspiring Assistant Headteacher - Director of Sixth Form to lead and develop Key Stage 5 provision at a school experiencing significant growth and success. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the strategic development of Key Stage 5 provision.
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to enhance the overall academic performance of the school.
- Support and develop teaching and learning across the sixth form.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that encourages high achievement and personal growth.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sixth form programmes and initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve student outcomes and progression.
- Ensure the implementation of policies and procedures in line with school and Trust values.
- Represent the school at relevant meetings and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in a senior educational role.
- Strong track record in teaching and leading at Key Stage 5.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Relevant teaching qualification and leadership experience.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
- Knowledge of sixth form admissions and progression pathways.
- Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar structure.
- Demonstrable success in raising student achievement and attainment.
