Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Teach in line with the department curriculum and assessment model
• Use assessment effectively to identify gaps and adapt teaching accordingly
• Create a calm, purposeful classroom environment that supports all learners
• Support pupils of varying abilities, including those with additional needs
• Contribute to intervention, revision, and enrichment activities
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and resources
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers about student progress

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Science education
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
• Experience in teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Commitment to student success and high expectations
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred

• Experience with differentiated instruction and supporting students with additional needs
• Familiarity with assessment strategies and data analysis
• Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in extracurricular activities or enrichment programs
