We are seeking a passionate and committed Science Teacher to join our collaborative department. You will deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on student learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Teach in line with the department curriculum and assessment model
- Use assessment effectively to identify gaps and adapt teaching accordingly
- Create a calm, purposeful classroom environment that supports all learners
- Support pupils of varying abilities, including those with additional needs
- Contribute to intervention, revision, and enrichment activities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and resources
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers about student progress
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Science education
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
- Experience in teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Commitment to student success and high expectations
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Preferred
- Experience with differentiated instruction and supporting students with additional needs
- Familiarity with assessment strategies and data analysis
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in extracurricular activities or enrichment programs
