Key Responsibilities:

• Teach GCSE and A-Level Business Studies and Economics using the Edexcel International curriculum.
• Deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students, ensuring excellent examination results.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the school’s enrichment programme, including events such as the Dragons Den competition and business enterprise day.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the department’s strong academic outcomes and innovative teaching practices.
• Support students through pastoral care and provide guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
• Engage with external speakers, universities, and workshops to enhance learning opportunities.
• Participate in continuing professional development and contribute to the school’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A relevant degree and teaching qualification.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience in Business and/or Economics at GCSE and/or A-Level.
• Experience teaching in the UK or an international setting.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Commitment to the school's values.

Preferred

• Experience teaching BTEC Business.
• Familiarity with the Edexcel International curriculum.
• Experience with external speakers, workshops, or university partnerships.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
