Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach the Business Studies and Accounting curriculum, ensuring students are prepared for university entry.
  • Monitor student behavior and maintain a respectful classroom environment.
  • Track student progress, assess work, and write reports as required.
  • Maintain accurate and efficient class attendance records.
  • Supervise play and lunch sessions as directed.
  • Act as a pastoral tutor, advising students on their academic and personal development.
  • Support a school House and participate in its activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Carry out evening boarding supervision duties as required.
  • Contribute to co-curricular activities, including sport, arts, academic enrichment, and outdoor pursuits.
  • Assist with marketing and admissions, attend staff meetings, and participate in school events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Business Studies and Accounting.
  • Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver high-quality lessons.
  • Experience in pastoral care and student welfare.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and compliance with school policies.
  • Willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities and support the school’s ethos.

Preferred

  • Experience with international curricula such as IGCSE or A Levels.
  • Background in co-curricular leadership or extracurricular program development.
  • Experience with boarding supervision or pastoral care in an international school setting.
  • Fluency in a second language.
