Key Responsibilities:

• Teach in the English department, covering A Level and IGCSE English.
• Contribute to co-curricular activities and pastoral duties, including overseeing boarders and acting as a Pastoral Tutor.
• Record assessments, write reports, and communicate effectively with parents.
• Support in recruiting and marketing events as required.
• Ensure pupil welfare by adhering to safeguarding policies and participating in House activities.
• Lead evening boarding supervision duties in line with the school's expectations.
• Engage in co-curricular provision through sport, arts, academic enrichment, and outdoor pursuits.
• Fulfill other duties as directed by the Leadership Team, including attending meetings, training, and school events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A degree in English
• A teaching qualification and relevant teaching experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Organised and efficient
• Enthusiastic and committed to student welfare and development

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Involvement in co-curricular and pastoral activities
• Experience in international education settings
• Avid reader with a strong understanding of literature
