Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies and Economics to students across Key Stages 4 and 5.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the department’s curriculum and assessment strategies.
• Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes and personal growth.
• Participate in joint planning, CPD, and team meetings to ensure continuous professional development.
• Engage in extra-curricular activities and school events to enhance the student experience.
• Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support a positive learning environment.
• Stay up to date with developments in the subject area and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Business Studies and Economics.
• Experience teaching at Key Stages 4 and 5.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.

Preferred

• Experience in a high-performing department with a track record of academic achievement.
