The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join our highly effective department. This role offers the opportunity to teach Business GCSE and A Level, as well as vocational subjects. The successful candidate will contribute to a school that is committed to academic excellence and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, including GCSE and A Level.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that engage students and promote a love of learning.
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the department.
  • Participate in planning, preparation, and marking, with one day per week allocated for these tasks.
  • Support the school’s mission to become a leading provider of Business, Economics, and Finance-related courses.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Business Studies.
  • Experience teaching Business GCSE and A Level.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and related areas.
  • Commitment to student achievement and professional development.

Preferred

  • Experience with vocational Business qualifications.
