The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Business Teacher to join our growing department and inspire students at both KS4 and KS5. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning environment that values innovation and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Business lessons to students at KS4 and KS5.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a challenging and inclusive curriculum.
- Support the professional development of students through personalized learning and career guidance.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the planning and delivery of cross-curricular projects.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their full potential.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that reflects the school’s core values.
- Engage with the wider community through partnerships and outreach initiatives.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in the field of Business education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Business education at KS4 and KS5.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Experience in working within a team and contributing to departmental planning.
- Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
- Ability to assess and support students of all abilities.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation in teaching methods.
- Background in student leadership or inclusion initiatives.
- Familiarity with the latest changes in education policy and KCSIE guidelines.
- Experience in working with diverse student populations.
