The Opportunity:

As a Careers Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through their academic and career pathways. You will support students and their families in navigating the application process for undergraduate programs around the world, with a focus on international higher education in Thailand. This role is ideal for someone passionate about holistic education and dedicated to making a meaningful impact on students' futures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students and families through the university application and career planning process.
  • Provide personalized guidance and counseling to students in their academic and career decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Futures team to develop and implement career-related programs and events.
  • Maintain detailed records and track student progress throughout their application journey.
  • Stay updated on global higher education trends and opportunities, particularly in Thailand.
  • Work closely with parents and guardians to ensure a comprehensive and supportive approach to student success.
  • Promote the school’s vision of preparing students for a sustainable global future through career and academic guidance.
  • Deliver career-related workshops and presentations to students and parents.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in careers guidance, preferably in an international school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students and families.
  • Detailed-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Commitment to holistic education and student well-being.
  • Proficiency in English and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting students in applying to international higher education programs in Thailand.
  • Fluency in Thai or other languages.
  • Experience with university application processes and systems.
  • Knowledge of international curricula such as IGCSE, A Levels, or BTEC.
  • Experience in developing and delivering career-related workshops or programs.
