Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and motivate young learners.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with English as an additional language.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on children's progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and ethos.
  • Promote a positive and safe learning environment, encouraging good behaviour and respect among students.
  • Support the school’s mission of nurturing confident communicators and caring individuals.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s ongoing growth and improvement.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A Bachelor Honours Degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the United Kingdom curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in children.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving school environment.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school setting.
  • Experience with teaching children from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Experience with early years education or child development.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
