The Opportunity:

A school is seeking a Casual Lettings Assistant to support the Site Team in delivering Lettings and general maintenance tasks. This role requires flexibility, a customer-focused approach, and a commitment to health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing work patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Site Team in the day-to-day delivery of Lettings and general maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure the upkeep of letting facilities and school site in line with health and safety standards.
  • Assist with covering other site staff during absences and holidays as required.
  • Promote a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and users of the letting facilities.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in working patterns and job tasks.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the school site during the school day when necessary.
  • Follow safe working practices and observe all health and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent attendance.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working patterns and job tasks.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with good communication skills.
  • Understanding of sports, leisure, and recreation, and the associated user groups.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety and cleanliness.

Preferred

  • Previous experience working in a school or education setting.
  • Experience with general maintenance or facilities management.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
