The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team on a fixed term basis. This role is essential in maintaining continuity of learning and supporting students during teacher absences. The successful candidate will contribute to a school that values high standards and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning in a variety of subjects during teacher absences.
• Ensure a safe and productive learning environment for students at all times.
• Deliver engaging and structured lessons that align with the school’s curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure consistent delivery of learning.
• Monitor and report on student behavior and well-being.
• Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures at all times.
• Assist with administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a valid teaching qualification.
• Experience in teaching and classroom management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to student-centered learning and inclusion.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience in covering multiple subjects.
• Familiarity with the school’s curriculum and values.
• Experience working within a Multi Academy Trust.
• Knowledge of sports and extracurricular activities.
