The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess effectively, maintaining accurate records of student progress.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to co-curricular and extra-curricular programmes, supporting whole-school initiatives and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (Biology or Chemistry specialism) or equivalent.
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Strong classroom practice with proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Leadership experience in curriculum or pastoral roles.
  • Experience in a British Curriculum school setting.
