Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in Chemistry at IGCSE and A Level.
• Implement effective formative assessment strategies to support student progress.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a strong and supportive teaching environment.
• Stay up to date with developments in the British curriculum and pedagogical best practices.
• Support the academic and personal development of students through mentorship and guidance.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of cross-curricular and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and performance.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and ongoing training.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum of two years of teaching experience.
• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Familiarity with the British curriculum framework.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to teach in English as the medium of instruction.

Preferred

• Experience teaching IGCSE and A Level Chemistry.
• Experience with formative assessment practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an international school setting.
• Experience with special education needs support.
