Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive performing arts curriculum aligned with international standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of performing arts teachers to ensure high-quality instruction and student engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate performing arts across the curriculum and school events.
  • Organize and oversee co-curricular and extracurricular performing arts activities, including productions, workshops, and performances.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, self-expression, and artistic excellence among students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress in performing arts, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Stay current with trends and best practices in performing arts education and incorporate them into teaching methods.
  • Promote international-mindedness and global citizenship through performing arts programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant education degree or PGCE or equivalent.
  • First language English fluency.
  • Experience in a high-quality British curriculum international school.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver innovative performing arts programs.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and Cambridge International IGCSE Curriculum.
  • Experience in curriculum development and assessment.
  • Familiarity with digital technology in education.
  • Background in student welfare and safeguarding practices.
