The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching across the KS2 curriculum
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners
  • Work closely with parents to support student progress and well-being
  • Promote the school’s Christian values and ethos in daily practice
  • Participate in collaborative planning and professional development opportunities
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports safeguarding
  • Prepare and deliver end-of-key-stage assessments in line with national requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS2 education
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and end-of-key-stage assessment requirements
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Support for the school’s Christian values and ethos

Preferred

  • Experience in promoting inclusive and creative teaching practices
  • Demonstrated ability to reflect on and improve teaching methods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with parental engagement and community involvement
