The Opportunity:
As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds through academic mastery and character development. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain clear KS2 progression pathways aligned with the National Curriculum
- Define mastery benchmarks and non-negotiables for academic success
- Use live data to identify and close learning gaps quickly
- Deliver short, sharp, high-impact workshops that maximise learning efficiency
- Ensure automaticity, depth, and secondary readiness in students
- Lead structured, high-energy life-skills workshops in the afternoon
- Coach every child to speak with clarity, confidence, and purpose
- Develop resilience, ownership, and goal-setting in students
- Facilitate projects that result in tangible outcomes and real-world impact
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
- Experience teaching across Years 3–6
- Ability to design progression and identify conceptual gaps
- Confidence in using data and assessment intelligently
- Experience in curriculum leadership or phase leadership preferred
Preferred
- Background in sport, performing arts, youth leadership, or coaching
- Experience with AI-powered educational platforms
- Comfortable leading groups dynamically and motivating without micromanagement
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build systems from scratch
- Strong presence and clarity of communication
