The Opportunity:

We are seeking a KS2 Teacher to provide maternity cover in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners while working within a school that values academic excellence and a strong sense of community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach a class of approximately 20 boys with the support of a teaching assistant.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Common Entrance syllabus and national curriculum standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative and engaging teaching strategies.
  • Support the school’s commitment to spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and school events.
  • Encourage a love of learning and a strong sense of self and tolerance among students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS2 education.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching aligned with the Common Entrance syllabus.
  • Experience working with boys in a primary school setting.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Familiarity with the Common Entrance and national curriculum standards.
  • Ability to contribute to a supportive and inclusive school culture.
  • Experience in pastoral care and student welfare.
