Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Framework and Development Matters guidance.
- Work closely with a designated year group partner and wider teaching team to ensure a cohesive and supportive classroom environment.
- Plan and implement phonics-based learning strategies to support early literacy development.
- Contribute to the school’s wider community through involvement in events, professional development, and cross-academy collaboration.
- Support the school’s commitment to inclusion by creating a welcoming and nurturing environment for all children.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and effective teaching practices across the Early Years setting.
- Provide regular feedback and assessments to support children’s progress and development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities as part of a supportive and growth-focused school culture.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in the Early Years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Framework and Development Matters guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, engaging learning experiences for young children.
- Commitment to working collaboratively within a team and contributing to a supportive school culture.
Preferred
- Experience in delivering phonics-based learning.
- Experience working in an EYFS unit that includes Lower Foundation.
- Familiarity with cross-academy collaboration and professional development opportunities.
