Key Responsibilities:

• Teach computing at all levels, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum and academic standards
• Monitor student behavior and maintain a respectful, productive classroom environment
• Track student progress, assess work, and provide regular feedback through written reports and parent meetings
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date class attendance records
• Supervise lunch and play sessions as required
• Support student welfare by participating in house activities and safeguarding initiatives
• Carry out weekly boarding duties in accordance with school policy
• Contribute to co-curricular activities such as sports, arts, and academic clubs
• Collaborate with leadership and colleagues on curriculum development and school events

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject
• High command of English and ability to deliver content in English
• Strong coding skills
• At least 2 years of full-time documented teaching experience, preferably in international schools offering IGCSEs and A levels
• Understanding of CAIE IGCSE/A A-level curriculum requirements

Preferred

• Master’s degree from an overseas university
• Experience teaching computer/coding-related clubs, after-school activities, and external competitions
• Familiarity with inquiry-based teaching approaches
