The Opportunity:

As a Computer Science Teacher Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning experience of students from the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the UK. Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and motivate students with purposeful subject knowledge in Computer Science.
  • Ensure quality teaching is at the core of all learning activities.
  • Support the evaluation and improvement of the school’s performance and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to maintaining a high-quality learning environment and serve as a role model for students.
  • Promote the academic and personal development of students and provide guidance on educational and wellbeing matters.
  • Deliver timely assessments, reports, and references for students.
  • Participate in professional development and staff meetings to enhance teaching practices.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and stakeholders to support student success.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required by the line manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
  • Ability to work well in teams.
  • Experience in primary, secondary, or college education.
  • Experience in state or independent school sectors.
  • Ability to create and enhance educational resources.
  • Computer literacy and experience with online teaching tools.
  • Understanding of best practices in student engagement and learning.
