A school is seeking a passionate and experienced Maths Teacher - GCSE and A-level to join a successful department. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on student success and academic achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach GCSE and A-level Mathematics in small groups, up to eight students.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that prepare students for success in examinations.
- Support students in achieving excellent results, with a focus on A*-B grades at A-level.
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a consistent and high standard of teaching.
- Participate in marking, assessments, and moderation processes.
- Provide individualised support and guidance to students.
- Stay up to date with changes in the curriculum and teaching methods.
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies and strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience in the UK, preferably with the 15-18 age group.
- Qualified teacher with experience in teaching GCSE and A-level Mathematics.
- Ability to teach A-level Further Mathematics is an advantage.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience with small group teaching.
- Experience in examination marking or moderation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated success in achieving high student results.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary between £36,000 and £50,000.
- Flexible working hours (4 or 5 days per week).
